1998.11.20 (week 073)

I hereby give Super-Ultra-Mega Thanx for the blessings I have received!!!
This week has a holiday movie burst. Some of the better ones are Celebrity, Bug's Life, Very Bad Things, Ringmaster and Home Fries. Bruce Willis fest continues at Brew&View, Armageddon was terrific there. Many many great bands are coming, including Tribe called Quest, Depeche Mode, Stabbing Westward, Days of the New, Garbage, Underworld, Girls Against Boys, Tricky, Whale, Seven Mary Three, Patti Smith, and Cheap Trick. Dance fans rejoice, plenty of good scenes, some raves, and a Prince night. Important TV events this week, including the Babylon V final episode, Voyager's 100th episode, and a Letterman anniversary. Finally, miscellaneously speaking, there are two public runs, a sale at the Art Institute, the Mag Mile Lights Festival, Chevy-Vette fest and two prominent vegetarian dinners.
