1999.07.16 (week 107)

Let the inner child be in charge for a while.
You know what, you know what? This week I'm going to that Bug Fest but they won't scare me, and then and then I'm gonna go on every ride at the Boys&Girls club carnival and then I'm gonna see Muppets From Space! Then I'm going to this huuuge comic book convention to say Hi to R2D2. On Sunday my best friend turns 12, so we're gonna blade to the video game tournaments, and the soccer fest and to see the the gymnastics exhibitions! Then I'm going to the circus! My inner teenager wants to see Motley Crue, Scorpions, Ozric Tentacles, Star People, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Lyle Lovett, Atari Teenage Riot, Add N To X, Don Cabellero, and the New Power Party. My inner grup says it's a verrry important week, 'cause 30 years ago we landed on the moon. Way Cool! I told him if he's very good, and doesn't whine and complain, I may let him go to his block party thing, or the garden walk or flower show, or see J.Geils Band or Joan Amatrading, or go to some ethnic thing. We'll see.
