'Tis The Season For New URLs
'Tis The Season For New URLs
Welcome to Bedno.com
New URL, same great content as the past
86 issues! You know what I'm talking about,
the great www.nobody-really-cares.com e-blitz
that's going on. But mine's better right???
Super holiday gift basket of fun
going on as usual, with Hanukkah, Pearl Harbor
Day, and the Start of Ramadan sprinkled in.
Along with the great assortment of ongoing
holiday specials there's some gift fests, including
a Japanese fest, the Waldorf School Holiday Fair,
Swedish Julmarknad and an art fest in Pilsen.
The New French Cinema Film Festival opens,
there's a Tribute to Bollywood and Brew&View
plays Scrooged Saturday. My favorites this week
are the truley spectacular Toys For Tots
Motorcycle event and Caroling to the Animals
on Sunday. The Mars Polar Lander touchdown
celebration at Adler, the Higgins Fine Art Glass
Holiday sale in Riverside, and the party at the MCA
are all on Friday. Worth joining are the major
Chicago Vegetarian Society dinner on Monday and a
Group Blade on Wednesday. Come on out!
Also this week there's good dance by Mordine and Company,
spooky holiday readings at Twilight Tales,
Beakman Live at the Field, protests at the WTO,
Bulls host Milwaukee, Bears host Green Bay Packers,
and Dumb Type performs "OR".
Better than a bunch of MP3s: Bush, Foo Fighters, Filter,
Moby, Oasis, Run DMC, Fiona Apple, Blink 182, Fantomas,
Meat Loaf, Stereolab, Neurosis, Candiria,
Jim O'rourke, Chicago Underground Duo,
Lo-Fidelity Allstars, Days Of The New.
Now that's a week!
