Notes:
ALWAYS call before going to a listed event.
It's Headache Awareness Month! The "Blues Rave", a group skate
featured in last week's issue drew about 40 people and a CBS news crew!
I saw Kill The Comedian/Low Sodium/Whatever at Stage Left with a dozen
other drunks. College quality comedy, and it starts at 1am. Went to
TigerStyle Friday at Magoo. Very undaground. Heard more rave reviews
about a Redno5 Saturday. The 57th street art fair was REALLY nice, and
has now fused with two other fairs. There were fine works, world music
and good mexican veggie food! I enjoy Evanston and had a great time
this week at Screenz, Lan Arena, Tom Thumb, Daves Rock Shop, and
Art+Science hair. Avoid Jackson, Grant Park, etc this weekend unless
you are attending a fest there. Keep wanting to try Nyx Friday at
Mutiny.
