The Early Years : Andrew's First Computers

Andrew's First Computers (click for next photo)

Programming since 1972!

Andrew began programming in 1972, getting several years of access by acoustic modem TTY to a fairly advanced for the time HP 2000 F minicomputer, thanks to a program for gifted students.

By 1978 Andrew owned a "COSMAC Elf II" microcomputer. A commercial 4K descendant from the Popular Electronics August 1976 revolutionary hobbyist project. Based on the RCA CDP-1802, this early CPU's illustrious history includes use on the Voyager spacecrafts.

Andrew subsequently owned and developed for numerous early PCs such as Apple, Timex, Commodore and Texas Instruments, and was published in hobbyist magazines of the time.
