RETIRED - 2011.09.28 The ghost bike formerly at Lincoln/Damen/Irving is now definitely gone. This was not entirely unexpected. It was de-named a few years ago, then last winter crews pulled up the entire rack and bike and set it aside for construction. I'd added a sign notifying to whom it may concern to please restore it when construction was completed and giving some contact and context info. Over the months it's been confirmed still present in that configuration with sign several times. But a few weeks ago Jera mentioned not seeing it so we scoped a block around, all corners, no trace.
