Are We Postmodern Yet?
This week see Mike Myers in a cutting edge 60s spoof and Troma's kinky Romeo and Juliette remake as the Beastie Boys help to free Tibet. Later in the week play virtual virtual skee-ball at the new temple of Disney and the modern art treated bovines are finally un-bo-veiled. Also fireworks and laser, Farmers Markets and Corvettes, a BrockOut, the Joffrey and two artsy circuses. People Rock! (and muse, eat, shop, ...) and will be doing so at the Andersonville Midsommarfest, Celebrate On State, Old Town Art Fair, Wells Street Art Festival, and the Festival Puertorriquenas. South Park season begins, Deep Space 9 ends, and what would King Kamehameha think of Real World: Honolulu. Also featuring Bobby McFerrin, Robbie Hardkiss, Bloque, Dave Mathews Band, 13mg, Soil, Hate Dept, PoundSeven and the Fleadh. See 'ya 'round.
