1999.06.18 (week 103)

First Ever 100% Hyper-Linked Issue!
What fun! Can you find the lame ones? You'd have to be about seven people to take it all in this week. Good thing my existence is partially virtual. Friday (International Day Of Action) I hope there's room for a me at the MCA's Solstice thing, but that means I may be late for the Joffrey, the Allman Brothers, UB40, Don Caballero, Bang, Big Apple Circus, the Grant Park Music Festival and gen-x week at Brew&View. Saturday (Juneteenth), a couple of me's will hit the farmers markets, Custer Street fair, Lincoln Avenue Music fest, Taste of Italy, ShelterFest, Dragon Festival, Puerto Rican Day parade, the PowWow, Hungerwalk, and a Devon tour, while others go hear The Boredoms, Hatewave, Bablicon, Nsync, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Venga Boys, Tyrese, Keith Sweat, Santana, Ministry, Tom Steinle and Prince Tributes for AIDS. Sunday (Father's day and Emancipation day) I's will participate in the Artists of The Wall Festival and the Boulevard Lakefront Tour and wrap up the day with a New Power Party, Liquid Soul, Sequence and Helsinki. Monday (start of Cancer and summer) we'll catch our breath with Psychotronic, in prep for the National Confectioners Association convention (but no kids allowed?!?), the Hersheys Kissmobile, Whitney Houston, Adrian Belew and Chris Isaak on Tuesday. Also, can't miss Lunacy and a new SouthPark on Wednesday (Midsummer Eve), nor Women's Soccer and the MOBfest on Thursday (St. John the Baptist Day). Wish us luck!
