Peacelovejoy!
Peacelovejoy!
New multi-purpose word. It's a wish, a greeting, a farewell and a mantra all in one. PEACELOVEJOY to you dear reader, and happy holidays. Christmas is finally here, closure on shopping season. It's just not the same without It's A Wonderful Life playing 24/7. There are however excellent films at the Music Box. Man On The Moon and Galaxy Quest open, and SCI will show a 21 Hour Battlestar Galactica Marathon. It's the last weekend for many seasonal programs, including Santa pictures, plays, and the Best Decorated Houses Tour, but ice skating is just getting warmed up (so to speak). This week Ted Nugent and Poi Dog Pondering play, the Bulls host Indiana and Detroit, and famed object animator Michael Moschen performs. Notable is the good dance scenes this week, including Cosmix and The Blasphemy Ball on xmas eve, the Boogie Down Christmas rave, Sunday's New Power Party and more. So stay warm, and may your heart be filled and renewed by the spirit of giving.
