There's a First Time For Everything...
There's a First Time For Everything...
It's an excuse to do almost anything, including original
thinking. Happy New Year! Continuity prevailed, but it was
a passage nonetheless. It's a First Friday at the MCA,
always a tempered blast, and an exhibit of Chicago photos
from New Years Eve shows this weekend only! Run Lola Run and
The Matrix (not a double feature) are Music Box weekend
midnight shows, Three Kings comes to Brew&View and Sunday is
full of new TV. There's a major LAN gaming Party, a
spectacular Chicago Vegetarian Society dinner, and Twilight
Tales readings at Red Lion. This Elvis' birthday week you
can hear Stardust do Bowie, the Billy Nayer Show, Insane
Clown Posse, Twiztid, all the usual dance nights and a rave.
The Bulls host Boston, the Field's Cartier exhibit ends, and
an exhibit of 5000 fast food toys opens at MSI.
Try something new.
