 Notes:
ALWAYS call before going to a listed event.
I usually think the big suburban fun places are too far away and spread out, so I was amazed last week on an easy night drive to Midway from the O'Hare area along Cumberland I passed Kiddie Land, Brookfield Zoo, and some spectacular cemetaries. Then on the way back up Cicero I passed several massive factories, The Scottish Shop, the Bel Aire Drive-In, and Krispy Kreme donuts.
Too bad about last weekend's rain. It must have effected several major events including Oz Fest, Northalsted Market Days, and Resonance. :(
Last Friday's "Candy Rave" group skate was the best ever! 45 people, 14 miles, free sweets, and Daquirees at the pier. Quote of the week "Don't set fire to my nose!"
