Careful countings indicate more than 4000 cyclists rode in World Naked Bike Ride : Chicago #14 on the evening of Saturday June 10th 2017. Easily breaking our past records of over 2000.
This video covers almost complete mass heading west on Walton from Michigan just after 9pm. Lacks about 22 seconds off the beginning (roughly the front 200, grrr) because some riders stopped in front and I had to hastily reposition. Count was done several times on a contrast, brightness and edge enhanced version of the raw full length video, at half and quarter speeds, projected, counted by ones crossing a midpoint, using a fast touch counter app, then further sanity checked against multiple riders/time rate samples (~10-12/sec).
