Pier Walk at Navy Pier - Over 100 massive outdoor sculptures on display, one of the city's best civic art accomplishments.
Most are taken down by November, replaced with new ones the next spring. Where they go (sold presumably?), or how for that matter (some must weigh tons) I do not know. The interesting "Maquettes" (small proposal mock-ups) of each work are shown and sold at the Thompson Center. Sorry about some of the exposures, it was dusk.
