		Bedno.com is accessible even from tiny POCKET ORGANIZERS! You can use Bedno.com on almost any organizer capable of connecting to a PC. It has been tested and looks EXCELLENT even on TINY and inexpensive touch screen devices such as the AWC "Z-Touch" Mini-PDA and the Royal "Extreme" and "Excelsior" models. It should also be usable with other brands such as the Xircom (Rex) info card, and Sharp models. Technically these data files are in standard comma delimited or similar formats with content optimized for tiny screen and space limits. Download and save selected files below (right-click save-target-as), then import and upload using the PC desktop software for your organizer.

		For Z-Touch organizers. This tiny organizer uploads data OPTICALLY from a coded flashing spot displayed on your PC screen, and is advertised as "The World's Smallest Touch Screen Organizer"! The Z-Touch is available now at WalMart stores in many colors in a prominent display rack near the watches department, UPC "LCD-ZTO" #0-83275-8890-6. It sometimes can also be found in Target stores in electronic toys or toy clearance sections, UPC #0-20571-40742-8. It is also available on a necklace in girl's accessories named "Gadget Gear Mini-PDA", UPC #65-728-41-2317-0. There are also may be some available on E-Bay (search for "z-touch") and it is sometimes sold online under the European name "P@L Mate" or "mini PDA". Backup or rename the existing ipalm.mem file there first if you need to retain any personal data. This puts the imported data in the desktop program's schedule application. Now run the Z-Touch desktop program and SYNC the organizer following the standard device instructions. This file may contain over 100 events. Certain highly recommended events are pre-marked for uploading, and you can manually select additional ones. There is also an alternate future import of events between 4 and 11 days from now. Royal organizers have fairly large memory capacity (192/384K) and good communications software, so it is technically possible to load a large number of entries. This organizer syncs bi-directionally by serial cable to a sophisticated PC desktop program.

Save this file on your PC then install it using your organizer's PC desktop program's phone book IMPORT function. You must manually create a template the first time to match up field names. If you also store personal numbers on your organizer, you should consider loading this import into a separate directory category if possible. For practicality only a few dozen selected places are included by default. Any or all subsets of the full database of almost 600 places can be imported one at a time:

Save this text file (right-click save-target-as) to your PC in the directory with your Magic-I desktop program. Run the Magic-I desktop program and click the phone directory. Click OPEN and select and load the downloaded file. Click OK to save the updated phonebook. Now SYNC the organizer following the standard device instructions. This may take ten minutes, leave everything still and dark. Worst case, tape the device to your screen, and upload in small incremental subsets. For best results reset and clear the organizer first. This export contains only phone numbers and names abbreviated to ten characters. There are over 125 records but due to device capacity only the best 100 are selected for upload, the rest are optional. This organizer has no datebook function.
