Membership System Discontinued
As of mid-2009, the extensive Social features of this site have been effectively discontinued.
Following the recent move to Yahoo groups for mass emailing earlier this year, the membership system here became less necessary. Though it included absolutely comprehensive social features well ahead of their time, that work duly served value in other projects.
In mid-2009 all login were quietly disabled, with additional info given on attempts.
Some two months later, with no complaints, all former members except family were quietly dropped, including photos, bios, messages, etc. Contributed photo albums and content may still appear, but there are no longer any logins.
This change to discontinuation of local mailings and membership system, has been dubbed site version 9.
